Mιtsovo BC's Tasos Geropappas got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 14 minutes, Minas Katsiaros successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tasos Geropappas struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Minas Katsiaros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mιtsovo BC. In the 21st match minute, West side story was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Themistoklis Bachramis to maneuver through the defense. Giorgos Kechagias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pipis Psarros in the 29th minute of play. When Petros Ladas came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the West side story fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petros Ladas couldn't finish the play. Pipis Psarros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giorgos Kechagias having to interfere. When West side story's Pipis Psarros in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mιtsovo BC's goalie prevented a goal. If Takis Kagouras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
