With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nestoras Eleftheriadis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Telis Tsouloufis didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 9th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Iosif Vouros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Telis Tsouloufis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. After 14 played minutes Playiárion BC got a freekick which was hit by Vlassis Theofilopoulos. Miltos Fyssas might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Telis Tsouloufis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miltos Fyssas ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dimitris Thomakoglou during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dimitris Thomakoglou hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. One of Nea Peramos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Playiárion BC:s goal. If Vlassis Theofilopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stratos Klotsidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iosif Vouros to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Nea Peramos booed when Playiárion BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christos Ntougeroglou didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miltos Fyssas in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Telis Tsouloufis saved Playiárion BC from getting behind. A collision led to Nea Peramos getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Kleon Stratopoulos hit a great ball. When Iosif Vouros came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Nea Peramos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iosif Vouros couldn't finish the play. Iosif Vouros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telis Tsouloufis having to interfere. In the 71stth minute of the game Stratos Klotsidis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nea Peramos's Nestoras Eleftheriadis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 72 minutes into the game, Playiárion BC's Vlassis Theofilopoulos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nestoras Eleftheriadis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Kostas Stamoulis's late challenge caught a Playiárion BC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nea Peramos's Miltos Fyssas got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
