Kostas Stamoulis hit a great ball. Petros Siamantouras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iosif Vouros in the 16th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Kelanνtis BC's zone, Iosif Vouros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petros Siamantouras came out of the goal and Iosif Vouros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Miltos Fyssas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nea Peramos's supporters rose to their feet, but Miltos Fyssas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petros Siamantouras breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kelanνtis BC's Petros Siamantouras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miltos Fyssas in the 20th minute of play. Miltos Fyssas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Petros Siamantouras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nikos Pechlifanis kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Fokas Petridis struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Nestoras Eleftheriadis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kelanνtis BC. Nestoras Eleftheriadis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikos Pechlifanis in the 32nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sotos Dousis during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Kelanνtis BC's zone, Miltos Fyssas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petros Siamantouras came out of the goal and Miltos Fyssas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Iosif Vouros made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Nikos Pechlifanis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kelanνtis BC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nikos Pechlifanis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nestoras Eleftheriadis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th match minute, Kelanνtis BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stavros Ikonomou to maneuver through the defense. Stavros Ikonomou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Miltos Fyssas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nea Peramos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Fokas Petridis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Kostas Stamoulis hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fokas Petridis in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nestoras Eleftheriadis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Nikos Pechlifanis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nestoras Eleftheriadis was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. 86 minutes into the game, Iosif Vouros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nea Peramos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kelanνtis BC the free kick. When Fokas Petridis came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Kelanνtis BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fokas Petridis couldn't finish the play.
