Merkada FC's Panagiotis Vyntra got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Babbis Vakirtzis in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miltos Fyssas in the 27th minute of play forced Merkada FC's goalkeeper Nikos Kafes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iosif Vouros couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd match minute, Merkada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Makis Tsakiroglou to maneuver through the defense. Nestoras Eleftheriadis came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Merkada FC's Panagiotis Vyntra. But to his dismay, Panagiotis Vyntra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Nestoras Eleftheriadis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Babbis Vakirtzis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Merkada FC's Babbis Vakirtzis in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nea Peramos's goalie prevented a goal. 79 minutes into the game, Merkada FC's Babbis Vakirtzis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nestoras Eleftheriadis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Nestoras Eleftheriadis came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Merkada FC's Babbis Vakirtzis. But to his dismay, Babbis Vakirtzis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. 91 minutes into the match, Panagiotis Vyntra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nestoras Eleftheriadis. Nea Peramos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Panagiotis Vyntra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. There was no doubt that Merkada FC were the better team. Merkada FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
