Playiárion BC's Telis Tsouloufis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fokas Petridis in the 10th minute of play. Fokas Petridis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, Vlassis Theofilopoulos notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Kelanνtis BC's Petros Siamantouras. Petros Siamantouras was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Stavros Ikonomou struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Christos Ntougeroglou hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Stratos Klotsidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petros Siamantouras having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stratos Klotsidis to make the kick off. Kelanνtis BC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nikos Pechlifanis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Telis Tsouloufis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Playiárion BC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Minas Liris hit a great ball.
