Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Minas Valkanis in the 5th minute of play forced Argyratika's goalkeeper Dorotheos Bolirakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Dimitris Papadatos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dorotheos Bolirakis. The goal made the score 1-0. If Themis Kafetzopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Prodromos Papazoglou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dimitris Papadatos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorotheos Bolirakis having to interfere. Dorotheos Bolirakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitris Papadatos, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Sotos Kritikos hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Argyratika's zone, Prodromos Papazoglou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorotheos Bolirakis came out of the goal and Prodromos Papazoglou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Prodromos Papazoglous short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Dorotheos Bolirakis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dimitris Papadatos in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dorotheos Bolirakis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 38 minutes into the match, Argyratika's goalkeeper Dorotheos Bolirakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Prodromos Papazoglou. When Argyratika's Konstantinos Moulopoulos in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Verdikoussa's goalie prevented a goal. Sakis Bourousis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Themis Kafetzopoulos in the 41st minute of play. After some careless play in the Argyratika defense, Prodromos Papazoglou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dorotheos Bolirakis. The Argyratika fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dorotheos Bolirakis should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dimitris Papadatos to make the kick off. After having played for 59 minutes, Prodromos Papazoglou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Verdikoussa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prodromos Papazoglou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Verdikoussa booed when Argyratika was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christodoulos Bakalakos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute of the match Soulis Kalenteridis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dorotheos Bolirakis skillfully saved the ball. 72 minutes into the game, Prodromos Papazoglou cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Dorotheos Bolirakis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Prodromos Papazoglou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Konstantinos Moulopoulos hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Dimitris Papadatos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Dorotheos Bolirakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 84 minutes, Prodromos Papazoglou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Verdikoussa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prodromos Papazoglou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dorotheos Bolirakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitris Papadatos in the 86th minute of the match. Konstantinos Moulopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th minute, Prodromos Papazoglou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Verdikoussa's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
