Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Verdikoussa's Dimitris Papadatos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alkaios Tsanaklidis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dimitris Papadatos's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. 8 minutes into the match, PARMENION's goalkeeper Alkaios Tsanaklidis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Prodromos Papazoglou. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Dimitris Papadatos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Verdikoussa's supporters rose to their feet, but Dimitris Papadatos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alkaios Tsanaklidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Prodromos Papazoglou got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 13th minute, Verdikoussa's Dimitris Papadatos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Nikos Pappagiorgas scored 1-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sakis Bourousis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 26 played minutes Verdikoussa got a freekick which was hit by Marinos Kornelakis. Nikos Pappagiorgas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sakis Bourousis having to interfere. Alkaios Tsanaklidis came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Verdikoussa's Dimitris Papadatos. But to his dismay, Dimitris Papadatos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Prodromos Papazoglou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Paraskevas Nioplias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Sakis Bourousis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Verdikoussa's Minas Valkanis got a free kick in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nikos Pappagiorgas to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, PARMENION was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lefteris Bougiouklis to maneuver through the defense. Soulis Kalenteridis, 54 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 55 minutes, Panagiotis Paramithis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PARMENION and the Verdikoussa players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Verdikoussa booed when PARMENION was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Panagiotis Paramithis didn't get a good kick on the ball. PARMENION's Alkaios Tsanaklidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prodromos Papazoglou in the 58th minute of play. Dimitris Papadatos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. PARMENION's Charalambos Violopoulos shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 68th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Sakis Bourousis but with some difficulty. Minas Valkanis hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the match, PARMENION's Sotiris Dentzas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nikos Pappagiorgas in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sakis Bourousis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 76 minutes of play Verdikoussa's Marinos Kornelakis was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Verdikoussa getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Marinos Kornelakis hit a great ball. In the 78th minute, Paraskevas Nioplias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 85th play minute Paraskevas Nioplias came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Sakis Bourousis. 2-2. The audience was convinced that Dimitris Kikidakis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alkaios Tsanaklidis was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. After 96 played minutes PARMENION got a freekick which was hit by Stratos Karaberis.
