Irrintzi Cobarrubias who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Knut Sundin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Modesto Eleazar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Knut Sundin. ΠΗΓΑΣΟΣ F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Irrintzi Cobarrubias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orestis Kamaras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. απατη fc's Iraklis Ntentas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thalis Kalapodas in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by απατη fc's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Atilla Nurbay was slow to take the kick. During this time ΠΗΓΑΣΟΣ F.C's players had a chance to rest. Knut Sundin was a little too slow when Tilemachos Seremetis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 38th minute, Themis Partalis made a precise shot to the right of Knut Sundin. ΠΗΓΑΣΟΣ F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Themis Partalis struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Knut Sundin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for απατη fc. απατη fc's Modesto Eleazar shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 45th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Knut Sundin but with some difficulty. 46 minutes into the match, ΠΗΓΑΣΟΣ F.C's goalkeeper Knut Sundin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Themis Partalis. After a defensive mix-up in ΠΗΓΑΣΟΣ F.C's zone, Tilemachos Seremetis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Knut Sundin came out of the goal and Tilemachos Seremetis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Themis Partalis was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Modesto Eleazar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Knut Sundin skillfully saved the ball. Tilemachos Seremetis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. απατη fc made a substitution. Vance Paterson replaced Giannis Likouriotis. Knut Sundin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tilemachos Seremetis in the 62nd minute of the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tilemachos Seremetis couldn't finish the play. In the 87th minute, Tilemachos Seremetis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Themis Partalis in the 88th minute of play forced ΠΗΓΑΣΟΣ F.C's goalkeeper Knut Sundin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 90 minutes, Alexandros Katopodis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ΠΗΓΑΣΟΣ F.C and the απατη fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, ΠΗΓΑΣΟΣ F.C's Alexandros Katopodis got a free kick in the 90th minute.
