After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Stelios Bernidakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arísti FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Stelios Bernidakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emmanouil Koukoulopoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paris Bourantas kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Arísti FC's Fivos Kostakos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Arísti FC from getting a goal against them. Alexandros Someritis hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Sakis Spyrouliss short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Fivos Kostakos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stelios Bernidakis in the 16th minute of play forced Anatoloú's goalkeeper Emmanouil Koukoulopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Anatoloú's goal looked a bit too open when Stelios Bernidakis came free, but Emmanouil Koukoulopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emmanouil Koukoulopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stelios Bernidakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Loukas Lalaounis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nestoras Kladas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fivos Kostakos. Arísti FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Arísti FC's goal looked a bit too open when Loukas Lalaounis came free, but Fivos Kostakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Anatoloú's zone, Lakis Kalimeris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emmanouil Koukoulopoulos came out of the goal and Lakis Kalimeris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stelios Bernidakis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 50 minutes, Zinon Darlas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Anatoloú and the Arísti FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 50th minute, Zinon Darlas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lakis Kalimeris got free with Emmanouil Koukoulopoulos in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Lakis Kalimeris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Sakis Spyroulis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stelios Bernidakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stelios Bernidakis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Emmanouil Koukoulopoulos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Anatoloú's Loukas Lalaounis got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Loukas Lalaounis scored 2-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fivos Kostakos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stelios Bernidakis struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Emmanouil Koukoulopoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arísti FC. If Lakis Kalimeris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paris Bourantas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emmanouil Koukoulopoulos having to make a save. If Stelios Bernidakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Anatoloú support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
