If Dimosthenis Georgiadis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fotis Papakrivos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyriakos Vekris, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. A collision led to Tirσs BC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Dimitris Giotakos hit a great ball. Kyriakos Vekris struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Fotis Papakrivos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chavárion. In the 18th minute, Dimosthenis Georgiadis fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Kyriakos Vekris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th match minute, Tirσs BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Panos Katsouranis to maneuver through the defense. Fotis Papakrivos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stamatis Papadamopoulos's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Trifon Tsorbas got free with Nikiforos Tsimidakis in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fotis Papakrivos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyriakos Vekris in the 36th minute of play. Loukas Karameros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Nikiforos Tsimidakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 43 minutes, Dimosthenis Georgiadis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tirσs BC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dimosthenis Georgiadis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dimosthenis Georgiadis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nikiforos Tsimidakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kyriakos Vekris was the one to do the kick off. Trifon Tsorbas might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nikiforos Tsimidakis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Trifon Tsorbas ran back to his position shaking his head. Dimosthenis Georgiadis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikiforos Tsimidakis having to interfere. Stamatis Papadamopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Fotis Papakrivos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Tirσs BC's Loukas Karameros got a free kick in the 59th minute. Tirσs BC's Dimosthenis Georgiadis got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Dimosthenis Georgiadis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Stamatis Papadamopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fotis Papakrivos having to interfere. Tirσs BC's Fotis Papakrivos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyriakos Vekris in the 72nd minute of play. Fotis Papakrivos made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Stamatis Papadamopoulos sent off a good shot on target. Fotis Papakrivos made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Fragiskos Tsopakis sent off a good shot on target. Trifon Tsorbas took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nikiforos Tsimidakis. Nikiforos Tsimidakis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 92 minutes into the match, Kyriakos Vekris dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fotis Papakrivos, 2-1. Stamatis Papadamopoulos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Fotis Papakrivos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Chavárion's Kyriakos Vekris in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tirσs BC's goalie prevented a goal. Tirσs BC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Chavárion for a fine match.
