Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nikos Kousas kicked off to start the match. In the 7th minute Avraam Vasilas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iraklis Stathatos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Kutunjalí FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nikolas Moschogiannis came free, but Iraklis Stathatos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olympiacos FC's Loukianos Emmanouilidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikos Kousas in the 13th minute of play. After having played for 16 minutes, Nikolas Moschogiannis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olympiacos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nikolas Moschogiannis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Dimosthenis Stafidas fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kutunjalí FC's protests and gave Dimosthenis Stafidas a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Olympiacos FC booed when Kutunjalí FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimosthenis Stafidas didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Apostolos Mouratis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikolas Moschogiannis in the 25th minute of play forced Kutunjalí FC's goalkeeper Iraklis Stathatos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Loukianos Emmanouilidis made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Apostolos Mouratis sent off a good shot on target. Nikos Kousas might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Loukianos Emmanouilidis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nikos Kousas ran back to his position shaking his head. 1-0 became the score in the 33rd minute when Apostolos Mouratis elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After having played for 41 minutes, Stefanos Anastasakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olympiacos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stefanos Anastasakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Nikolas Moschogiannis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kutunjalí FC's Nikos Kousas suffered a sore thigh after 44 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Thomas Mitroulis kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Olympiacos FC's Loukianos Emmanouilidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paschalis Meletakis in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nikolas Moschogiannis to make the kick off. Loukianos Emmanouilidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Themis Patsatzis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Olympiacos FC's zone, Apostolos Mouratis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Loukianos Emmanouilidis came out of the goal and Apostolos Mouratis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute of the match, Avraam Vasilas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Iraklis Stathatos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 59th match minute, Olympiacos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giannis Karafanakis to maneuver through the defense. Apostolos Mouratis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Loukianos Emmanouilidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Paschalis Meletakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Nikolas Moschogiannis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olympiacos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nikolas Moschogiannis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iraklis Stathatos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Nikolas Moschogiannis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes in the game, Avraam Vasilas fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Iraklis Stathatos having to interfere. Kutunjalí FC's Iraklis Stathatos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Kutunjalí FC from getting a goal against them. If Avraam Vasilas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olympiacos FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
