Spectators: 6500 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lazaros Kalimeris took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Iosif Bozonis fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panathinaikos AO's protests and gave Iosif Bozonis a yellow card for diving instead. Iosif Bozonis kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Lazaros Kalimeris managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dragamιston FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lazaros Kalimeris was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vladimiros Tsoukalis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vladimiros Tsoukalis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lazaros Kalimeris, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Takis Kalomerias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Vladimiros Tsoukalis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Dragamιston FC's zone, Paschalis Batsidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christodoulos Terzakis came out of the goal and Paschalis Batsidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dragamιston FC's Takis Kalomerias got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Themis Provatidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christodoulos Terzakis having to interfere. After 26 played minutes Dragamιston FC got a freekick which was hit by Christos Ketikidis. Christodoulos Terzakis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paschalis Batsidis in the 27th minute. Panathinaikos AO's Stratos Bletsas pulled a muscle in his leg after 31 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 32nd minute, Takis Kalomerias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Panathinaikos AO's Paschalis Batsidis got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Fivos Beis came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Panathinaikos AO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fivos Beis couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute, Paschalis Batsidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Takis Kalomerias struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Vladimiros Tsoukalis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dragamιston FC. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Paschalis Batsidis made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Dragamιston FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Argyris Mitropoulos to maneuver through the defense. Fotis Oxyzoglou, 53 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Paschalis Batsidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Christodoulos Terzakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lazaros Kalimeris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiros Tsoukalis having to interfere. Takis Kalomeriass short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Vladimiros Tsoukalis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Lazaros Kalimeris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Lazaros Kalimeris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 93 played minutes Dragamιston FC got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Loukmas. The Dragamιston FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
