Spectators: 7646 (Terracing: 5736, Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dimitris Grigorakoglou started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Yeroakσnas FC's Fotis Lazakis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Vladimiros Tsoukalis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dimitris Grigorakoglou's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Themis Provatidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th match minute, Yeroakσnas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giorgos Prokas to maneuver through the defense. Stratos Bletsas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 18th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Paschalis Batsidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Kostas Mavrigiannakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kostas Mavrigiannakis came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Panathinaikos AO's Themis Provatidis. But to his dismay, Themis Provatidis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 29 minutes into the game, Thodoris Koutetes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yeroakσnas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panathinaikos AO the free kick. Thodoris Koutetes kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Stratos Bletsas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kostas Mavrigiannakis. Yeroakσnas FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 35th minute, Filippos Karagiannidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Yeroakσnas FC's zone, Paschalis Batsidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kostas Mavrigiannakis came out of the goal and Paschalis Batsidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paschalis Batsidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Mavrigiannakis having to interfere. Themis Provatidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Mavrigiannakis having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Themis Provatidis made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Yeroakσnas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Themis Provatidis came free, but Kostas Mavrigiannakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fotis Lazakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiros Tsoukalis having to interfere. During the 65th minute of the match Giorgos Prokas completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Giorgos Prokas a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Yeroakσnas FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Giorgos Prokas hit a great ball. In the 66th minute of the match Stratos Bletsas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kostas Mavrigiannakis skillfully saved the ball. Paschalis Batsidis might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kostas Mavrigiannakis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paschalis Batsidis ran back to his position shaking his head. Kostas Mavrigiannakis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paschalis Batsidis in the 72nd minute. Paschalis Batsidiss short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Kostas Mavrigiannakis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dimos Kominidis during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dimos Kominidis kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Paschalis Batsidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Mavrigiannakis having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Yeroakσnas FC's zone, Paschalis Batsidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kostas Mavrigiannakis came out of the goal and Paschalis Batsidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 88 minutes, Paschalis Batsidis made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Yeroakσnas FC's Kostas Mavrigiannakis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Panathinaikos AO's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
