Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dragamιston FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Argyris Mitropoulos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lazaros Farmakis made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Takis Kalomerias sent off a good shot on target. Recreativo de Huelva's Lazaros Farmakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lazaros Kalimeris in the 10th minute of play. Takis Kalomerias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Lazaros Farmakis made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Dragamιston FC's zone, Stiliyan Drangazhov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christodoulos Terzakis came out of the goal and Stiliyan Drangazhov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Dragamιston FC's Lazaros Kalimeris slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lazaros Farmakis. That made the score 1-0 after 23 minutes of play. 28 minutes into the game, Zinon Argyriadis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Recreativo de Huelva's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dragamιston FC the free kick. Zinon Argyriadis hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After having played for 30 minutes, Takis Kalomerias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. With a little luck, Recreativo de Huelva's Lazaros Farmakis got control of the ball when Takis Kalomerias tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lazaros Kalimeris was extremely unlucky when he, in the 36th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Takis Kalomerias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Lazaros Farmakis made a huge save. In the 39th minute Lazaros Kalimeris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lazaros Farmakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Takis Kalomerias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Lazaros Farmakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lazaros Kalimeris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stiliyan Drangazhov made a kick off. Christodoulos Terzakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stiliyan Drangazhov in the 51st minute of the match. In the 53rd minute of the match Recreativo de Huelva got a corner. Dragamιston FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zinon Argyriadis ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 56th minute, Lazaros Kalimeris left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dragamιston FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Dragamιston FC's Takis Kalomerias got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Dragamιston FC booed when Recreativo de Huelva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Panos Kaligeros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lazaros Farmakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lazaros Kalimeris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lazaros Farmakis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Takis Kalomerias in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lazaros Farmakis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Stathis Latousakis fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Recreativo de Huelva's protests and gave Stathis Latousakis a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Dragamιston FC booed when Recreativo de Huelva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stathis Latousakis didn't get a good kick on the ball.
