Spectators: 7559 (Terracing: 5670, Seating: 1738, VIP seats: 151) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Thomas Alexiou kicked off to start the match. Stavros Kelaidonis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Stathis Tirovolas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Thomas Alexiou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Kharaktinσs BC's Stathis Tirovolas got control of the ball when Paris Karousakis tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kharaktinσs BC's goalkeeper Stathis Tirovolas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Kharaktinσs BC's Stathis Tirovolas got control of the ball when Paris Karousakis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paris Karousakis came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Stathis Tirovolas could save by the left post. Kharaktinσs BC's Stathis Tirovolas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Alexiou in the 26th minute of play. Panagiotis Saravalakos came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Kharaktinσs BC's Argyris Ververis. But to his dismay, Argyris Ververis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Panagiotis Saravalakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Argyris Ververis in the 37th minute of play. Argyris Ververis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute Thomas Alexiou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stathis Tirovolas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thomas Alexiou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stathis Tirovolas having to interfere. Paris Karousakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Stathis Tirovolas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fanis Valassis made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fanis Valassis in the 52nd minute of play forced Syraikos FC's goalkeeper Panagiotis Saravalakos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Syraikos FC booed when Kharaktinσs BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Panos Kopidakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute of the match Tasos Karatzas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stathis Tirovolas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Syraikos FC's Thomas Alexiou got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paris Karousakis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stathis Tirovolas having to make a save. In the 80th minute Paris Karousakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stathis Tirovolas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Syraikos FC's Panagiotis Saravalakos got control of the ball when Fanis Valassis tried to sneak it across the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Syraikos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fanis Valassis came free, but Panagiotis Saravalakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute of the match Kharaktinσs BC got a corner. Syraikos FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pantelis Liakos ran over to the corner to take the kick. Kharaktinσs BC's Pantelis Liakos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Panagiotis Saravalakos in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 91st minute, Kharaktinσs BC's Fanis Valassis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Stathis Tirovolas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Alexiou in the 95th minute of the match. Theofanis Kretsos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Panagiotis Saravalakos having to make a save. The Kharaktinσs BC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
