Miltos Agathakoglou kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Asteras's goal looked a bit too open when Fanis Valassis came free, but Prodromos Vournas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Kharaktinσs BC defense, Lakis Panagiotopoulos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stathis Tirovolas. The Kharaktinσs BC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stathis Tirovolas should have stopped the shot. Asteras's Prodromos Vournas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Asteras from getting a goal against them. Asteras's Prodromos Vournas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fanis Valassis in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Asteras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lakis Panagiotopoulos to maneuver through the defense. Fanis Valassis kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Stathis Tirovolas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Praporgescu in the 33rd minute of the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ivan Praporgescu to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Kharaktinσs BC's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Praporgescu came free, but Stathis Tirovolas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Lakis Panagiotopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Asteras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lakis Panagiotopoulos couldn't finish the play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Prodromos Vournas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Prodromos Vournas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panos Kopidakis in the 83rd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Argyris Ververis notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Asteras's Prodromos Vournas. Prodromos Vournas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Ivan Praporgescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stathis Tirovolas was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. If Ivan Praporgescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kharaktinσs BC's Stathis Tirovolas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Praporgescu in the 93rd minute of play. 94 minutes in the game, Anastasios Pantrianakos fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Stathis Tirovolas having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Panos Kopidakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Asteras's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
