Stratos Barberis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ntinos Steliadis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Panagiotis Saravalakos made a huge save. Paris Karousakis scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pavlos Balatsouras, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stavros Kelaidonis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Pavlos Balatsouras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pavlos Balatsouras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Alexiou, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Thomas Alexiou took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pavlos Balatsouras. Pavlos Balatsouras dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charilaos Markomichalis in the 29th minute of play forced Agíasma FC's goalkeeper Pavlos Balatsouras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paris Karousakis struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Pavlos Balatsouras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Syraikos FC. After 43 played minutes Agíasma FC got a freekick which was hit by Manos Stefanakos. Pavlos Balatsouras didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thomas Alexiou went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stratos Barberis to make the kick off. The supporters of Syraikos FC booed when Agíasma FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manos Stefanakos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agíasma FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Thomas Alexiou scored to the left of an out of position Pavlos Balatsouras, making the score, 0-5. A collision led to Syraikos FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Valerios Nikitaras hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Agíasma FC's zone, Paris Karousakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pavlos Balatsouras came out of the goal and Paris Karousakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 72nd minute of the match, Thomas Alexiou tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pavlos Balatsouras saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paris Karousakis got free with Pavlos Balatsouras in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 86th minute of the match Tasos Karatzas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pavlos Balatsouras skillfully saved the ball. Charilaos Markomichalis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Agíasma FC's Paraskevas Kiassos got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Paris Karousakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pavlos Balatsouras read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play.
