Konstantinos Papageorgatos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Christos Marmatakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the game, Lakis Tripolitis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Péta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mastoratika the free kick. Mastoratika's Alkis Kastras got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Babbis Stoltidis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Konstantinos Papageorgatos went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Péta's zone, Alkis Kastras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stratos Tsatsarelis came out of the goal and Alkis Kastras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Apostolikas Pourtoulidis was shown his second yellow card after 36 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Apostolikas Pourtoulidis kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Lakis Tripolitis, 37 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Péta's Konstantinos Papageorgatos got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute Christos Marmatakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Babbis Stoltidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Emmanouil Kosmas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mastoratika's supporters rose to their feet, but Emmanouil Kosmas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stratos Tsatsarelis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Péta getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Thanos Pelekanos hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Péta defense, Emmanouil Kosmas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stratos Tsatsarelis. The Péta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stratos Tsatsarelis should have stopped the shot.

The wind increased when Christos Marmatakis made the kick off in the second half. Christos Marmatakis might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Babbis Stoltidis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christos Marmatakis ran back to his position shaking his head. Christos Marmatakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Babbis Stoltidis having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Mastoratika's Alkis Kastras sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stratos Tsatsarelis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Konstantinos Papageorgatos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
