Apostolikas Pourtoulidis hit a great ball. If Alkis Kastras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Aik fc's zone, Emmanouil Kosmas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexis Nikitaras came out of the goal and Emmanouil Kosmas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Emmanouil Kosmas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Alexis Nikitaras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emmanouil Kosmas in the 26th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alkis Kastras in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexis Nikitaras saved Aik fc from getting behind. 36 minutes into the match, Aik fc's goal looked a bit too open when Alkis Kastras came free, but Alexis Nikitaras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stefanos Bekos kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Michalis Karkantos in the 53rd minute of play forced Mastoratika's goalkeeper Babbis Stoltidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alkis Kastras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexis Nikitaras having to interfere. Ignatios Farmakis charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 62nd minute, Eleftherios Makrigiannis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Michalis Karkantos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Babbis Stoltidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Minas Nasiakos's late challenge caught a Mastoratika's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Minas Nasiakos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th minute, one of Aik fc:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Aik fc. When the match had been going on for 79 minutes, Mastoratika's Errikos Chatzakis got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Alexis Nikitaras. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Alkis Kastras managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mastoratika's supporters rose to their feet, but Alkis Kastras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexis Nikitaras breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 92nd minute Alkis Kastras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexis Nikitaras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emmanouil Kosmas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Alkis Kastras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mastoratika's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
