Bernabe Inko took the ball and in the 2 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tasos Kyriakoulis. Tasos Kyriakoulis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Tasos Kyriakoulis had great luck who in the 10thth minute grab hold of the ball when Bernabe Inko from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. ASTERAS's Franz Davenport played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kleanthis Tripitsidis in the 16th minute of play. After some careless play in the ASTERAS defense, Christos Marakis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franz Davenport. The ASTERAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franz Davenport should have stopped the shot. With his leg Tasos Kyriakoulis managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when ASTERAS's Giorgos Tsouloufis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 27th match minute, Xechasmιni BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efthimis Rikkas to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, ASTERAS's goal looked a bit too open when Kleanthis Tripitsidis came free, but Franz Davenport reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giorgos Tsouloufis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Tasos Kyriakoulis made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kleanthis Tripitsidis during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Xechasmιni BC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Kleanthis Tripitsidis hit a great ball. Efthimis Rikkas hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernabe Inko was the one to do the kick off. If Giorgos Tsouloufis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Bernabe Inko sped through Xechasmιni BC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tasos Kyriakoulis. Tasos Kyriakoulis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernabe Inko in the 62nd minute of play. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Xechasmιni BC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Giorgos Bouloukos was slow to take the kick. During this time ASTERAS's players had a chance to rest. After 64 minutes Xechasmιni BC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Giorgos Bouloukos who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on ASTERAS's corner Giorgos Bouloukos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tasos Kyriakoulis quite easily take care of the ball. In the 71st minute, Vassilis Mikedis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Kleanthis Tripitsidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stratos Paligiannis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tasos Kyriakoulis. Xechasmιni BC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 88th minute, Thanos Stamelos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tasos Kyriakoulis was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Tasos Kyriakoulis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernabe Inko's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. 95 minutes into the match, Xechasmιni BC's goal looked a bit too open when Giorgos Tsouloufis came free, but Tasos Kyriakoulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Giorgos Tsouloufis in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tasos Kyriakoulis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 98 minutes of play Xechasmιni BC's Kleanthis Tripitsidis was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Kleanthis Tripitsidis kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. When Bernabe Inko came up free with the goalie in the 100th minute, the ASTERAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernabe Inko couldn't finish the play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ASTERAS had played much better football throughout.
