Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kleanthis Tripitsidis got the match started through his kick off. If Nikos Kabantais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pavlos Kanaris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kleanthis Tripitsidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orestis Mitrou scored 1-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tasos Kyriakoulis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Xechasmιni BC's zone, Nikos Kabantais stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tasos Kyriakoulis came out of the goal and Nikos Kabantais tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Nikos Kabantais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute of the match Panagiotis Monokrousos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tasos Kyriakoulis skillfully saved the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Siαta's Christos Pekos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tasos Kyriakoulis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Christos Marakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Pavlos Kanaris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nikos Kabantais to strike the kick off in the second half. Nikos Kabantais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Tasos Kyriakoulis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Xechasmιni BC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! Panagiotis Monokrousos shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Christos Marakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marios Roussos was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 72 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. One of Xechasmιni BC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Siαta:s goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikos Kabantais in the 79th minute of play forced Xechasmιni BC's goalkeeper Tasos Kyriakoulis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christos Pekos might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tasos Kyriakoulis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christos Pekos ran back to his position shaking his head. 84 minutes into the game, Christos Pekos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Siαta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Xechasmιni BC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Siαta's Christos Pekos got a free kick in the 84th minute. Nikos Kabantais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Siαta players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
