Despite this Régis da Silveira quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Eustratios Kabitsis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manos Paleologos in the 77th minute of play. Marios Irinopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Régis da Silveira having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, AETOS CHANIA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Marios Irinopoulos fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to AETOS CHANIA getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Dionysis Katzos hit a great ball. Dionysis Katzos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When AETOS CHANIA's Manos Paleologos in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Marios Irinopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Elatos BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marios Irinopoulos couldn't finish the play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Elatos BC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
