With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giannis Kyriakiadis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Lakis Fotakis came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Tsakartsianoϊ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lakis Fotakis couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Porto Leone's Kyriakos Papoutsakos got control of the ball when Lakis Fotakis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kyriakos Papoutsakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michalis Adamos in the 24th minute of play. The referee ignored Tsakartsianoϊ's protests and gave Nikos Thomaidis a yellow card for diving instead. 69 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Porto Leone's Adamantios Thomaidis fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high.
