Dionysis Karpouzis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pyrgi. Alkis Kastanopoulos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dionysis Karpouzis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Apostolos Saroglou scored 1-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dionysis Karpouzis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stamatis Dokas kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Vaggelis Kontogiannopoulos struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Evaggelos Routsis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NEVER AGAIN. After 15 played minutes Pyrgi got a freekick which was hit by Petros Georgakopoulos. Thalis Stratis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Pyrgi's goal looked a bit too open when Thalis Stratis came free, but Evaggelos Routsis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zacharias Kritikopoulos during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th match minute, NEVER AGAIN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacharias Kritikopoulos to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Pyrgi's Alkis Kastanopoulos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dionysis Karpouzis. Dionysis Karpouzis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After a rather tough play, NEVER AGAIN's Iraklis Tsabis got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After 43 played minutes Prodromos Kopsalakis scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Dionysis Karpouzis who was too lazy, 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alkis Kastanopoulos to strike the kick off in the second half. If Vaggelis Kontogiannopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thalis Stratis was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 53rd minute. NEVER AGAIN's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 55th minute, Paraskevas Megalios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Pyrgi booed when NEVER AGAIN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimitris Vourkos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Prodromos Kopsalakis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 63rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Evaggelos Routsis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thalis Stratis in the 67th minute of play. Apostolos Saroglou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Apostolos Saroglou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thalis Stratis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Odysseas Thanoulis during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Odysseas Thanoulis kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pyrgi's zone, Thalis Stratis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaggelos Routsis came out of the goal and Thalis Stratis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. NEVER AGAIN's Vaggelis Kontogiannopoulos suffered a concussion after 94 minutes and had to leave the field. Stamatis Dokas's late challenge caught a NEVER AGAIN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stamatis Dokas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th match minute, Pyrgi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stamatis Dokas to maneuver through the defense. Pyrgi were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of NEVER AGAIN for a fine match.
