Kostas Panagoulias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sakis Dimakis hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Babbis Kastanopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Vodka Juniors defense, Malcolm Bettney kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christoforos Karvouniaris. The Vodka Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christoforos Karvouniaris should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, ΛΕΩΝΙΔΙΟ F.C.'s Zisis Trechalas got a free kick in the 23rd minute. With an all-out effort, Vodka Juniors's Gabriel Rogozanu threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sakis Dimakis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 27 minutes, Kostas Panagoulias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vodka Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kostas Panagoulias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute Kostas Panagoulias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Rogozanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Rogozanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kostas Panagoulias in the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kostas Panagoulias in the 37th minute of play forced ΛΕΩΝΙΔΙΟ F.C.'s goalkeeper Gabriel Rogozanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kostas Panagoulias in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gabriel Rogozanu saved ΛΕΩΝΙΔΙΟ F.C. from getting behind. Sakis Dimakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Rogozanu having to interfere. In the 45th minute Kostas Panagoulias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Rogozanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of ΛΕΩΝΙΔΙΟ F.C. booed when Vodka Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kostas Panagoulias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bianco Donati stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fivos Chatzakis charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fivos Chatzakis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The crowd rose to their feet as ΛΕΩΝΙΔΙΟ F.C.'s Malcolm Bettney slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Christoforos Karvouniaris. That made the score 0-3 after 63 minutes of play. Vodka Juniors's Kostas Panagoulias got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kostas Panagoulias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, Vodka Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Bianco Donati came free, but Christoforos Karvouniaris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
