Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tasos Chrysafis started the match with the kick off. Lefteris Bartzilas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christos Giakoumis having to make a save. Tasos Chrysafis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Babbis Anagnostopoulos made a huge save. Kyriakos Mingas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Koulis Proussalidis hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. When Zisis Sapounidis came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the OFI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zisis Sapounidis couldn't finish the play. Lefteris Bartzilas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Christos Giakoumis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Plevroma's goal looked a bit too open when Zisis Sapounidis came free, but Christos Giakoumis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Babbis Anagnostopoulos came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Plevroma's Kyriakos Mingas. But to his dismay, Kyriakos Mingas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 44 minutes into the game, OFI's Lefteris Bartzilas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christos Giakoumis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

After having played for 51 minutes, Lefteris Bartzilas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. OFI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lefteris Bartzilas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 56th minute of the match, Zisis Sapounidis got a very nice opportunity to score, but Christos Giakoumis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Tasos Chrysafis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Babbis Anagnostopoulos having to interfere. 74 minutes into the game, Anastasios Kopanaras was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. OFI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Plevroma the free kick. Thanasis Christakoglou, 74 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tasos Chrysafis in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Babbis Anagnostopoulos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Plevroma's Christos Giakoumis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lefteris Bartzilas in the 86th minute of play. Babbis Anagnostopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyriakos Mingas, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Plevroma's Christos Giakoumis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lefteris Bartzilas in the 90th minute of play. Aris Premetis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
