After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Nikitas Bikas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tsapaleika's supporters rose to their feet, but Nikitas Bikas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chrisostomos Kastanakos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Anastasios Dalianas came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Tsapaleika fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anastasios Dalianas couldn't finish the play. 33 minutes into the match, Tsapaleika's goalkeeper Akis Spilias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paraskevas Karagiotis. Anastasios Dalianas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Valerios Kouromichelakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paraskevas Karagiotis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Tsapaleika getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Nikolas Macheridis hit a great ball. Valerios Kouromichelakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Valerios Kouromichelakis made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Tsapaleika's goal looked a bit too open when Valerios Kouromichelakis came free, but Akis Spilias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 59 minutes, Ntinos Karantonis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. HELLAS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ntinos Karantonis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Tsapaleika's goal looked a bit too open when Ntinos Karantonis came free, but Akis Spilias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Akis Spilias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valerios Kouromichelakis in the 62nd minute of play. Akis Spilias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valerios Kouromichelakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Paraskevas Karagiotis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in HELLAS's zone, Anastasios Dalianas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chrisostomos Kastanakos came out of the goal and Anastasios Dalianas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paraskevas Karagiotis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tsapaleika eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
