Spectators: 5600 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Zacharias Zotos kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emmanouil Georgiadis got free with Giorgos Kalamaropoulos in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Plataniαs BC's Giorgos Kalamaropoulos got control of the ball when Emmanouil Georgiadis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zacharias Zotos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 22 minutes, Emmanouil Christakos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Plataniαs BC and the BOTSIONAS FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 23 played minutes Plataniαs BC got a freekick which was hit by Emmanouil Christakos. After 28 minutes, Alexandros Tziolis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BOTSIONAS FC and the Plataniαs BC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 28th minute, Alexandros Tziolis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Plataniαs BC's zone, Zacharias Zotos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giorgos Kalamaropoulos came out of the goal and Zacharias Zotos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 31 minutes into the game, Loukianos Sarantopoulos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Plataniαs BC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BOTSIONAS FC the free kick. In the 31st match minute, Plataniαs BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loukianos Sarantopoulos to maneuver through the defense. BOTSIONAS FC's Emmanouil Georgiadis got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Loukianos Sarantopoulos hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After 40 minutes of play, BOTSIONAS FC's Emmanouil Georgiadis made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giorgos Kalamaropoulos was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Plataniαs BC's Panos Thanos in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BOTSIONAS FC's goalie prevented a goal. Alkis Samaras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Panos Thanos, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Panos Thanos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes BOTSIONAS FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emmanouil Christakos who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Plataniαs BC's Nontas Tsartas to fire away a dangerous shot which Alkis Samaras despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Panos Thanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Emmanouil Georgiadis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 63 played minutes Plataniαs BC got a freekick which was hit by Ilias Banasopoulos. The audience was convinced that Zacharias Zotos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Giorgos Kalamaropoulos was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Alkis Samaras stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Panos Thanos's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. When Giannis Tsarouchis fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Plataniαs BC's protests and gave Giannis Tsarouchis a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of BOTSIONAS FC booed when Plataniαs BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giannis Tsarouchis didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Loukianos Sarantopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Plataniαs BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Loukianos Sarantopoulos couldn't finish the play. BOTSIONAS FC's Alkis Samaras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panos Thanos in the 76th minute of play. After 87 minutes of play, BOTSIONAS FC's Zacharias Zotos made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giorgos Kalamaropoulos was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 90 played minutes BOTSIONAS FC got a freekick which was hit by Fondas Patikas. If Panos Thanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Loukianos Sarantopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emmanouil Georgiadis struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Giorgos Kalamaropoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BOTSIONAS FC. In the 97th minute Zacharias Zotos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giorgos Kalamaropoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. BOTSIONAS FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
