Panos Thanos might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christos Konstantatos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Panos Thanos ran back to his position shaking his head. Christos Konstantatos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panos Thanos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Nontas Tsartas fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Plataniαs BC's protests and gave Nontas Tsartas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th minute, Nontas Tsartas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Aggelos Seftelis came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the OLYMPIAKOS F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aggelos Seftelis couldn't finish the play. After 82 played minutes Plataniαs BC got a freekick which was hit by Giannis Tsarouchis. Giorgos Kalamaropoulos made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Aggelos Seftelis sent off a good shot on target. In the 85th minute, Loukianos Sarantopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nikiforos Anthimidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giorgos Kalamaropoulos having to interfere. Giorgos Kalamaropoulos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aggelos Seftelis in the 95th minute. The Plataniαs BC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching OLYMPIAKOS F.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for OLYMPIAKOS F.C..
