Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Fitσkon BC's Konstantinos Botsaris started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Eleftherios Stathas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trifon Arnidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Panagiotis Laliotis having to interfere. When Trifon Arnidis came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Kostefαnou fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Trifon Arnidis couldn't finish the play. Michalis Faniadis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konstantinos Botsaris in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of Fitσkon BC booed when Kostefαnou was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nektarios Kallioras didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kostefαnou's Michalis Faniadis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eleftherios Stathas in the 13th minute of play. Sokratis Tataridis lost his temper 15 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 14th minute, one of Kostefαnou:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kostefαnou. If Konstantinos Botsaris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eleftherios Stathas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Michalis Faniadis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Eleftherios Stathas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eleftherios Stathas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Fitσkon BC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eleftherios Stathas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michalis Faniadis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute, Aggelos Papoulias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 46 played minutes Kostefαnou got a freekick which was hit by Trifon Arnidis. Konstantinos Botsaris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Michalis Faniadis came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Fitσkon BC's Eleftherios Stathas. But to his dismay, Eleftherios Stathas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Kostefαnou's Michalis Faniadis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konstantinos Botsaris in the 62nd minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Trifon Arnidis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Panagiotis Laliotis. Fitσkon BC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Trifon Arnidis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After a rather tough play, Kostefαnou's Stamatis Troupkos got a free kick in the 78th minute. When Aggelos Papoulias fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fitσkon BC's protests and gave Aggelos Papoulias a yellow card for diving instead. After 82 played minutes Fitσkon BC got a freekick which was hit by Aggelos Papoulias. Nektarios Kallioras charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nektarios Kallioras the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Fitσkon BC booed when Kostefαnou was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nektarios Kallioras didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michalis Faniadis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konstantinos Botsaris in the 87th minute of the match. When Alekos Argyriou fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kostefαnou's protests and gave Alekos Argyriou a yellow card for diving instead.
