The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christos Zinas in the 29th minute of play forced Khalνkia's goalkeeper Nikolas Kounelakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Klió FC's Michalis Katevatis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Klió FC from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Christos Zinas sped through Khalνkia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nikolas Kounelakis. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonidas Protopapadakis got free with Michalis Katevatis in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nikolas Kounelakis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anthimos Fotakoglou in the 76th minute. In the 80th minute Leonidas Protopapadakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michalis Katevatis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
