Fokas Karanasios recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Christos Papadosifakis came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Akraνfnion BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christos Papadosifakis couldn't finish the play. Nikitas Kabotsis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christos Papadosifakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Panos Lyberogiannis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute Panos Lyberogiannis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikitas Kabotsis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Renos Iordanopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Alexis Mavrofridis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Kostas Anastasis, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 30 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Alexis Mavrofridis was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kostas Anastasis in the 33rd minute of play forced Akraνfnion BC's goalkeeper Alexis Mavrofridis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 37 played minutes Akraνfnion BC got a freekick which was hit by Lazaros Kapranidis. In the 39th minute Kostas Anastasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexis Mavrofridis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kostas Anastasis in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexis Mavrofridis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Panos Lyberogiannis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikitas Kabotsis having to interfere. Nikitas Kabotsis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christos Papadosifakis in the 53rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Christos Papadosifakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Akraνfnion BC's supporters rose to their feet, but Christos Papadosifakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nikitas Kabotsis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 61stth minute of the game Kostas Anastasis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Akraνfnion BC's Alexis Mavrofridis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alexis Mavrofridis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kostas Anastasis's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. The audience was convinced that Kostas Anastasis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexis Mavrofridis was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. The supporters of Strimonokhσri booed when Akraνfnion BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lazaros Kapranidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kostas Anastasis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Giannis Bantrakos helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Akraνfnion BC booed when Strimonokhσri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giannis Bantrakos didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Strimonokhσri had played much better football throughout.
