Giorgos Gitsis hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. If Panos Lyberogiannis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giorgos Gitsis couldn't finish the play. Lazaros Kapranidis charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lazaros Kapranidis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 88th minute, Lazaros Kapranidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute of the match Karaïskákis got a corner. Akraνfnion BC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eustratios Sotiras ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Apostolos Adamos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Akraνfnion BC's Alexis Mavrofridis did a great save. Karaïskákis played a much better game than Akraνfnion BC and deserved their victory. The Akraνfnion BC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
