Fu Qiang Jian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Viktoras Fotopoulos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Serafim Coutinho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Vaggelis Tsatsaronis hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Fu Qiang Jian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stelios Karatasos struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Viktoras Fotopoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spartans fc. Vovousa FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Fu Qiang Jian 33 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. When the referee ended the match the Spartans fc players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
