The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Vassilis Valsamakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lippa's supporters rose to their feet, but Vassilis Valsamakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nikitas Livathinos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nikos Galitsios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikitas Livathinos having to interfere. A collision led to Lippa getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Petros Kyriazis hit a great ball. 31 minutes in the game, Nikos Galitsios fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Nikitas Livathinos having to interfere. After 36 played minutes ILISIAKOS AC got a freekick which was hit by Stamatis Papaevaggelou. Stamatis Papaevaggelou kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in ILISIAKOS AC's zone, Nikos Galitsios stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikitas Livathinos came out of the goal and Nikos Galitsios tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vassilis Valsamakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half ILISIAKOS AC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Nikitas Livathinos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikos Galitsios in the 53rd minute of play. Vassilis Valsamakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Nikitas Livathinos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Argyris Belntekas got free with Zinon Orfaniotis in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Argyris Belntekas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zinon Orfaniotis having to interfere. Zinon Orfaniotis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aggelos Kapodistrias in the 61st minute of play. ILISIAKOS AC's Aggelos Kapodistrias got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nikitas Livathinos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vassilis Valsamakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nikos Galitsios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikitas Livathinos having to interfere. If Vassilis Valsamakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ILISIAKOS AC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
