Nestoras Kousouridis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattias Rosen, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The supporters of Geroplátanos booed when Andromahiotis f.c was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Themis Zoumis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lino Messias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geroplátanos's Fotis Papaevaggelou got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Geroplátanos getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Giorgos Pinezas hit a great ball. Nestoras Kousouridis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mattias Rosen went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 32nd play minutes Themis Zoumis shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Nestoras Kousouridis and just under the crossbar into goal. Lino Messias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Nestoras Kousouridis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th match minute, Geroplátanos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fotis Papaevaggelou to maneuver through the defense. Nestoras Kousouridis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Messias, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Fotis Papaevaggelou hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. If Ignatios Karipidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ignatios Karipidis succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 46th playminute. After the first half Andromahiotis f.c were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

60 minutes into the match, Andromahiotis f.c's goal looked a bit too open when Omiros Kechribaris came free, but Dimitris Asimakopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lino Messias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Nestoras Kousouridis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 63 played minutes Geroplátanos got a freekick which was hit by Giannis Koutsikos. In the 64th minute Lino Messias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestoras Kousouridis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Fotis Papaevaggelou ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dimitris Asimakopoulos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Mattias Rosen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 76 minutes, Themis Zoumis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Andromahiotis f.c's supporters crossed their fingers, but Themis Zoumis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 78 played minutes Geroplátanos got a freekick which was hit by Fotis Papaevaggelou. A hard shot 79 in the game by Themis Zoumis from a close distance when the talented Nestoras Kousouridis managed to make a qualified save. Geroplátanos's players were relieved. Mattias Rosen might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nestoras Kousouridis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mattias Rosen ran back to his position shaking his head. Dimitris Asimakopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignatios Karipidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd match minute, Andromahiotis f.c was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christodoulos Tsouchtras to maneuver through the defense. Lino Messias struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Nestoras Kousouridis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Andromahiotis f.c. When Fotis Papaevaggelou fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Geroplátanos's protests and gave Fotis Papaevaggelou a yellow card for diving instead. After 88 played minutes Geroplátanos got a freekick which was hit by Fotis Papaevaggelou. Giorgos Pinezas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Dimitris Asimakopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Mattias Rosen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Andromahiotis f.c fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. When the match was over Andromahiotis f.c could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Geroplátanos throughout the match.
