Fotis Vrakas started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Paliochorion getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Thrasivoulos Spertos hit a great ball. After 26 minutes, Petros Minotis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paliochorion and the Playiárion FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Paliochorion's Petros Minotis got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 29th match minute, Paliochorion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petros Minotis to maneuver through the defense. If Theocharis Kalevras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fotis Vrakas in the 40th minute of play forced Playiárion FC's goalkeeper Giorgos Anastasiadis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Playiárion FC's Lambros Kountouris got a free kick in the 46th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Theocharis Kalevras made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Paliochorion's Thrasivoulos Spertos got a free kick in the 51st minute. 52 minutes into the game, Theocharis Kalevras cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Konstantinos Karamanos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Theocharis Kalevras struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Konstantinos Karamanos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Playiárion FC. Sotiris Tsiabras charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sotiris Tsiabras the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Paliochorion's Fotis Vrakas was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 66th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Themos Papaloukas got free with Giorgos Anastasiadis in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Theocharis Kalevras took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Konstantinos Karamanos. Konstantinos Karamanos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 78th match minute, Playiárion FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sotiris Tsiabras to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute, Fotis Vrakas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fotis Vrakas kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Playiárion FC's Lambros Kountouris got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Playiárion FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
