Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Paliochorion's Fotis Vrakas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Giorgos Pinezas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Konstantinos Karamanos was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Giorgos Pinezas kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Ignatios Karipidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konstantinos Karamanos having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Geroplátanos's Giorgos Pinezas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Konstantinos Karamanos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Geroplátanos's Demis Seletopoulos got a free kick in the 17th minute. Ignatios Karipidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Omiros Kechribaris hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Konstantinos Karamanos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giorgos Pinezas in the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fotis Vrakas in the 36th minute of play forced Geroplátanos's goalkeeper Nestoras Kousouridis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Geroplátanos's Fotis Papaevaggelou got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 46th minute, Giorgos Pinezas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 49th minute, Paliochorion's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ignatios Karipidis fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.
In the 57th match minute, Paliochorion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Themos Papaloukas to maneuver through the defense. If Ignatios Karipidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Giorgos Pinezas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Konstantinos Karamanos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignatios Karipidis in the 64th minute of play. Ignatios Karipidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Giorgos Pinezas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konstantinos Karamanos having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Ignatios Karipidis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Geroplátanos's supporters rose to their feet, but Ignatios Karipidis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Konstantinos Karamanos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paliochorion's Konstantinos Karamanos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giorgos Pinezas in the 73rd minute of play. Ignatios Karipidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Konstantinos Karamanos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giorgos Pinezas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konstantinos Karamanos having to interfere. After 91 minutes, Ignatios Karipidis made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Paliochorion's Konstantinos Karamanos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ignatios Karipidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Konstantinos Karamanos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Geroplátanos's Giorgos Pinezas got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 97thth minute of the game Giorgos Pinezas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paliochorion's Konstantinos Karamanos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Geroplátanos had played much better football throughout.
