Spectators: 6750 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1750, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Iraklis Evaggellatos made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, Tigers's Fanis Batistas got a free kick in the 4th minute. A collision led to Tigers getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Fanis Batistas hit a great ball. In the 14th minute Anestis Votsis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giorgos Anastasiadis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 0-1 became the score in the 19th minute when Anestis Votsis elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Nestoras Orfanidis hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. If Theocharis Kalevras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iraklis Evaggellatos did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Nestoras Zigos 26 minutes into the match. If Iraklis Evaggellatos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giorgos Anastasiadis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stergios Grigorakoglou's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. After 36 played minutes Playiárion FC got a freekick which was hit by Lambros Kountouris. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

After a rather tough play, Tigers's Aris Papagiannopoulos got a free kick in the 51st minute. Tigers's Anestis Votsis got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 61 minutes, Iraklis Evaggellatos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Playiárion FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iraklis Evaggellatos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anestis Votsis in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giorgos Anastasiadis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stergios Grigorakoglou scored 1-3 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giorgos Anastasiadis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Giorgos Anastasiadis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anestis Votsis's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. During the 71st minute of the match Aris Papagiannopoulos completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Aris Papagiannopoulos a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 72 played minutes Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Aris Papagiannopoulos. With his leg Giorgos Anastasiadis managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Tigers's Stergios Grigorakoglou fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 76 minutes, Iraklis Evaggellatos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Playiárion FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iraklis Evaggellatos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stergios Grigorakoglou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Tigers's Fanis Batistas in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Playiárion FC's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Playiárion FC booed when Tigers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sotos Philipou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stergios Grigorakoglou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Tigers left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Playiárion FC.
