The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Lino Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mattias Rosen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Themis Zoumis put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Konstantinos Karamanos. In the 20th match minute, Andromahiotis f.c was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Koboropoulos to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Paliochorion's Fotis Vrakas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dimitris Asimakopoulos. Dimitris Asimakopoulos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. 30 minutes into the match, Andromahiotis f.c's Lino Messias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Konstantinos Karamanos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Konstantinos Karamanos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Themis Zoumis in the 32nd minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Fotis Vrakas made the kick off in the second half. Themis Zoumiss short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Konstantinos Karamanos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Konstantinos Karamanos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Messias in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Mattias Rosen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dimitris Asimakopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Themos Papaloukas in the 66th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Andromahiotis f.c's Christodoulos Tsouchtras got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute Kleanthis Zisopoulos suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Apostolis Panteliadis during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Andromahiotis f.c's Valentinos Koulopodis was substituted for Kleanthis Zisopoulos. After a rather tough play, Paliochorion's Apostolis Panteliadis got a free kick in the 69th minute. After 72 played minutes Paliochorion got a freekick which was hit by Grigoris Vasiliadis. Konstantinos Karamanos was a little too slow when Themis Zoumis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 1-3. The supporters of Andromahiotis f.c booed when Paliochorion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fotis Vrakas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Themis Zoumis struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Konstantinos Karamanos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Andromahiotis f.c. Themis Zoumis took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Konstantinos Karamanos. Konstantinos Karamanos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Andromahiotis f.c's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
