Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Vaggelis Karydas made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 5th minute, Vaggelis Karydas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thodoris Dimoulis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Thodoris Dimoulis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vaggelis Karydas, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After 9 minutes, Stefanos Sklavenitis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mitαta FC and the Romanos players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Romanos booed when Mitαta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefanos Sklavenitis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Romanos's goalkeeper Stamatis Christopoulos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sotiris Bakosis. 12 minutes into the game, Vaggelis Sarantos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Romanos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mitαta FC the free kick. Vaggelis Sarantos hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute, Markos Paraskevakos fired a really elegant long shot, but Stamatis Christopoulos threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. If Christos Anastopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nektarios Vdelas charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nektarios Vdelas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mitαta FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Romanos a penalty, 21 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Koulis Remoundos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mitαta FC's Thodoris Dimoulis. 0-2. Vaggelis Karydas might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thodoris Dimoulis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vaggelis Karydas ran back to his position shaking his head. Stergios Zikos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stamatis Christopoulos having to interfere. Stergios Zikos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Stamatis Christopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sotiris Bakosis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sotiris Bakosis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Themos Stergallas's late challenge caught a Romanos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Themos Stergallas helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Romanos booed when Mitαta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Themos Stergallas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Dimitris Vakalos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stamatis Christopoulos was a little too slow when Stergios Zikos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 45th minute, Stergios Zikos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stergios Zikos was the one to do the kick off. Stamatis Christopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stergios Zikos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Romanos getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Pantelis Konstas hit a great ball. Markos Paraskevakos was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 54th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 55 minutes, Stergios Zikos made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Romanos's Stamatis Christopoulos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 60 minutes into the match, Mitαta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vaggelis Karydas came free, but Thodoris Dimoulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Romanos's zone, Stergios Zikos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stamatis Christopoulos came out of the goal and Stergios Zikos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sotiris Bakosis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sotiris Bakosis struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Stamatis Christopoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mitαta FC. If Sotiris Bakosis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stamatis Christopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stergios Zikos in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Romanos's goal looked a bit too open when Stergios Zikos came free, but Stamatis Christopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
