Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Giannis Konstantellos took the kick off in the first half of the match. Dimitris Lazaridis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorotheos Zabetas having to interfere. After having played for 9 minutes, Bart Dryden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skarpαri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bart Dryden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10th minute, Fanis Nikopolidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match Bart Dryden came totally free in front of Rνyalon BC's goalkeeper and smashed the ball just inside the right post. A collision led to Rνyalon BC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Iordanis Stavrakas hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Dorotheos Zabetas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iordanis Stavrakas in the 27th minute of play forced Skarpαri's goalkeeper Henrik Byström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kostas Bartzokas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorotheos Zabetas having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, Rνyalon BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pipis Stavridis to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Christos Maratos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute Giannis Konstantellos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrik Byström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrik Byström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stavros Kolomitrousis went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 42 minutes into the game, Dimitris Lazaridis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dorotheos Zabetas. Dimitris Lazaridis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Henrik Byström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giannis Konstantellos in the 46th minute of play. Filippos Kouretzis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Henrik Byström. Skarpαri's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bart Dryden stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Rνyalon BC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Christos Maratos hit a great ball. 52 minutes into the match, Rνyalon BC's goal looked a bit too open when Bart Dryden came free, but Dorotheos Zabetas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Stavros Kolomitrousis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henrik Byström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christos Maratos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giannis Konstantellos hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute Dimitris Lazaridis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorotheos Zabetas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Bart Dryden left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Skarpαri fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Dimitris Lazaridis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skarpαri's supporters rose to their feet, but Dimitris Lazaridis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorotheos Zabetas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bart Dryden in the 68th minute of play forced Rνyalon BC's goalkeeper Dorotheos Zabetas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bart Dryden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Rνyalon BC booed when Skarpαri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bart Dryden didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Skarpαri's goalkeeper Henrik Byström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iordanis Stavrakas. Skarpαri's Christos Agathakis got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Dimitris Lazaridis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bart Dryden in the 85th minute of play forced Rνyalon BC's goalkeeper Dorotheos Zabetas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henrik Byström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giannis Konstantellos in the 86th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Skarpαri's goalkeeper Henrik Byström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iordanis Stavrakas. After 88 played minutes Rνyalon BC got a freekick which was hit by Fanis Nikopolidis. Dorotheos Zabetas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bart Dryden went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Skarpαri had played much better football throughout.
