The supporters of Kallithea FC booed when αστραπη fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marios Nikolopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Pantelis Patziaras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. αστραπη fc's Konstantinos Baskakis got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Konstantinos Baskakis to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Konstantinos Baskakis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paschalis Nikolaidis was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Iason Varkaris's late challenge caught a αστραπη fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kallithea FC's Paschalis Nikolaidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konstantinos Baskakis in the 90th minute of play. Sotiris Psistakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paschalis Nikolaidis having to interfere. In the 96th minute Sotiris Psistakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paschalis Nikolaidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. αστραπη fc fully deserved thier win.
