After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Christos Plousis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Niki Sitias's supporters rose to their feet, but Christos Plousis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eugenios Masourakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paris Charoulis scored 1-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eugenios Masourakis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Christos Plousis sped through LIVERPOOL F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eugenios Masourakis. In the 23rd minute, Alexandros Venoukas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Petros Papagiannoulis came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Niki Sitias fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petros Papagiannoulis couldn't finish the play. If Babbis Ntokas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Niki Sitias's goal looked a bit too open when Periklis Dimitrakopoulos came free, but Sokratis Krasakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. LIVERPOOL F.C.'s Eugenios Masourakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christos Plousis in the 31st minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Adamantios Kostikos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LIVERPOOL F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Niki Sitias the free kick. Adamantios Kostikos kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 32ndth minute of the game Christos Plousis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LIVERPOOL F.C.'s Eugenios Masourakis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christos Plousis in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eugenios Masourakis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Niki Sitias were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after LIVERPOOL F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pantelis Dermitzakis took the corner. The crowd rose to their feet as Niki Sitias's Petros Papagiannoulis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eugenios Masourakis. That made the score 3-0 after 39 minutes of play. With his leg Eugenios Masourakis managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Niki Sitias's Christos Plousis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Anastasios Manolas fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LIVERPOOL F.C.'s protests and gave Anastasios Manolas a yellow card for diving instead. Anastasios Manolas kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute of the match Johan Sjöberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eugenios Masourakis skillfully saved the ball. In the 45th minute, Argyris Kantartzis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 53 minutes, Paris Charoulis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Niki Sitias and the LIVERPOOL F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th match minute, Niki Sitias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paris Charoulis to maneuver through the defense. Christos Plousis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Christos Plousis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evripidis Kriaropoulos might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eugenios Masourakis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evripidis Kriaropoulos ran back to his position shaking his head. Christos Plousis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute, Alexandros Venoukas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Babbis Ntokas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentinos Papalias charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentinos Papalias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Valentinos Papalias hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, Petros Papagiannoulis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eugenios Masourakis. LIVERPOOL F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Petros Papagiannoulis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Christos Plousis might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eugenios Masourakis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christos Plousis ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 88th minute of the match Johan Sjöberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eugenios Masourakis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of LIVERPOOL F.C. booed when Niki Sitias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paris Charoulis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niki Sitias walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
