Pαnaina BC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Niki Sitias the free kick. The supporters of Niki Sitias booed when Pαnaina BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandros Kakalos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Johan Sjöberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Theofilos Aggeloulis. Pαnaina BC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Fotis Tzoumaris's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sokratis Krasakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Alexandros Kakalos was shown his second yellow card after 18 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Pαnaina BC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Alexandros Kakalos hit a great ball. Vladimiros Galinos kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Christos Plousis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Theofilos Aggeloulis. The goal made the score 2-0. Paris Charoulis struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Theofilos Aggeloulis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Niki Sitias. If Paris Charoulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Theofilos Aggeloulis was a little too slow when Christos Plousis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 3-0. After 42 played minutes Petros Papagiannoulis rounded Pαnaina BC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-0. Christos Plousis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theofilos Aggeloulis having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christos Plousis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Petros Papagiannoulis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Niki Sitias's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pαnaina BC the free kick. After 52 played minutes Niki Sitias got a freekick which was hit by Petros Papagiannoulis. The audience was convinced that Christos Plousis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Theofilos Aggeloulis was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. After 58 minutes, Konstantinos Tennes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Niki Sitias and the Pαnaina BC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62ndth minute of the game Christos Plousis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pαnaina BC's Theofilos Aggeloulis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Niki Sitias's Christos Plousis in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Theofilos Aggeloulis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Pαnaina BC's Achilleas Bekos got a free kick in the 78th minute. Niki Sitias's Valentinos Papalias got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Petros Papagiannoulis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Spyros Ntaifas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Niki Sitias's supporters rose to their feet, but Spyros Ntaifas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Theofilos Aggeloulis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valentinos Papalias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theofilos Aggeloulis having to interfere. Theofilos Aggeloulis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petros Papagiannoulis, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Petros Papagiannoulis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
