Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Vassilis Skandalidis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Paraskevas Tassiopoulos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vassilis Skandalidis's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. When Grigoris Kyrgiakos came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Aiolikos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Grigoris Kyrgiakos couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Aiolikos FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tilemachos Pardalakis was slow to take the kick. During this time Nevrovounνta FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Tilemachos Pardalakis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Thanasis Lygos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 15thth minute of the game Vassilis Skandalidis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nevrovounνta FC's Paraskevas Tassiopoulos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 16th match minute, Nevrovounνta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikos Talitsikas to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Nevrovounνta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vassilis Skandalidis came free, but Paraskevas Tassiopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iraklis Loukoumas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Paraskevas Tassiopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paraskevas Tassiopoulos stood somewhat misplaced when Vassilis Skandalidis came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 26 minute. In the 32nd minute, Christos Dalianas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valerios Xenidis kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Nevrovounνta FC were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Aiolikos FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tilemachos Pardalakis took the corner. The corner led Nevrovounνta FC's Tilemachos Pardalakis to fire away a dangerous shot which Thanasis Lygos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Nevrovounνta FC! Paraskevas Tassiopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grigoris Kyrgiakos, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Aiolikos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iraklis Loukoumas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Aiolikos FC booed when Nevrovounνta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tilemachos Pardalakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paraskevas Tassiopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vassilis Skandalidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th match minute, Nevrovounνta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vrasidas Mouras to maneuver through the defense. Nevrovounνta FC's Alkinoos Pantazoulis got his second yellow card of the match in the 89th minute. The referee ordered Alkinoos Pantazoulis off the ground. In the 90th match minute, Nevrovounνta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alkinoos Pantazoulis to maneuver through the defense. Iraklis Loukoumas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paraskevas Tassiopoulos having to interfere. There was no doubt that Aiolikos FC were the better team. Aiolikos FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
