Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Thymios Ioannidis started the match with the kick off. Telis Varvouzanis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Zinon Lefkos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ilias Kalamaropoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanos Lioutas hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Telis Varvouzanis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zinon Lefkos having to interfere. In the 12thth minute of the game Theodosis Provatidis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mourtia's Fanis Kouretas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to ΘΡΥΛΟΣ getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Panagiotis Poulianitis hit a great ball. Zinon Lefkos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Telis Varvouzanis, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Telis Varvouzanis was extremely unlucky when he, in the 18th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Zinon Lefkos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Telis Varvouzanis in the 19th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in ΘΡΥΛΟΣ's zone, Ilias Kalamaropoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zinon Lefkos came out of the goal and Ilias Kalamaropoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, ΘΡΥΛΟΣ's Kostas Logothetis got a free kick in the 31st minute. Zinon Lefkos acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 32nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Stratos Kladis. After a rather tough play, ΘΡΥΛΟΣ's Aris Politakis got a free kick in the 36th minute. After a defensive mix-up in ΘΡΥΛΟΣ's zone, Tolis Matsaggos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zinon Lefkos came out of the goal and Tolis Matsaggos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half ΘΡΥΛΟΣ were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Telis Varvouzanis to make the kick off. Kostas Doulkeroglou hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute, Kostas Doulkeroglou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lambros Kasselakis hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Telis Varvouzanis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zinon Lefkos having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Telis Varvouzanis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zinon Lefkos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The Mourtia fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Mourtia's Telis Varvouzanis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Zinon Lefkos came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Mourtia's Telis Varvouzanis. But to his dismay, Telis Varvouzanis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Mourtia's Telis Varvouzanis got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zinon Lefkos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilias Kalamaropoulos in the 96th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mourtia fully deserved thier win.
