Johny F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vrakhnaνika BC the free kick. Thomas Papagiotopoulos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Apostolikas Tsilikos made a huge save. Johny F.C.'s Adolfo Redmond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Spyros Kastoriadis in the 76th minute of play. Vrakhnaνika BC's Apostolikas Tsilikos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Vrakhnaνika BC from getting a goal against them. Dimitris Zikos's late challenge caught a Vrakhnaνika BC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dimitris Zikos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 85th minute, Dimitris Zikos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zacharias Beloutsis took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adolfo Redmond. Adolfo Redmond dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After 93 minutes, Sotiris Marinakis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vrakhnaνika BC and the Johny F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Johny F.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
