Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Argyris Kesaris started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Adolfo Redmond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panos Kostidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adolfo Redmond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manos Valassakos in the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute of the match AEK F.C ATHENS got a corner. Johny F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Argyris Kesaris ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Argyris Kesaris got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Adolfo Redmond quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 10 minutes into the game, Alekos Martinakis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Johny F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AEK F.C ATHENS the free kick. In the 10th match minute, Johny F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alekos Martinakis to maneuver through the defense. Johny F.C.'s Adolfo Redmond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Argyris Kesaris in the 13th minute of play. Adolfo Redmond didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Argyris Kesaris went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Leonidas Kolitsidakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eutichios Kaldelis in the 20th minute of play forced Johny F.C.'s goalkeeper Adolfo Redmond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Thomas Papagiotopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Johny F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomas Papagiotopoulos couldn't finish the play. Johny F.C.'s Thomas Papagiotopoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adolfo Redmond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eutichios Kaldelis in the 26th minute of the match. Panos Kostidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eutichios Kaldelis scored 0-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adolfo Redmond, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Giorgos Bakakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Thomas Papagiotopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AEK F.C ATHENS were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Johny F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Argyris Kesaris took the corner. A well done corner resulted in Gerasimos Vavatsikos drilling the ball in to score 0-4 behind Johny F.C.'s goalkeeper. Babbis Michelakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitris Trechalidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 48th minute Dimitris Trechalidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Babbis Michelakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dimitris Trechalidis was the one to do the kick off. After 58 played minutes Johny F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Konstantinos Voulgaris. Eugenios Mazonakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Giorgos Bakakos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 70 played minutes Johny F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Alekos Martinakis. In the 79th minute, Manos Valassakos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adolfo Redmond. The goal made the score 0-6. Eutichios Kaldelis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Adolfo Redmond made a huge save. Thomas Papagiotopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to AEK F.C ATHENS getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Panos Kostidis hit a great ball. The supporters of Johny F.C. booed when AEK F.C ATHENS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Argyris Kesaris didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thomas Papagiotopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alekos Martinakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Babbis Michelakis having to interfere. AEK F.C ATHENS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
