In the 38th minute, Trifon Karaflas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The OSFP FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 42 minutes into the game, Vlassis Saltamaras was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. OSFP FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.O A.E.K SYROY the free kick. A.O A.E.K SYROY's Kostas Venetidis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save A.O A.E.K SYROY from getting a goal against them. Demis Trabakoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panos Prekkas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
